The 2008 Annual Joint Symposium of the Florida Chapter of the AVS Science and Technology Society (FLAVS) and the Florida Society for Microscopy (FSM) will be held March 10-11, 2008 at the Student Union Building of the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
The Symposium will consist of Technical Sessions, a Student Poster Session and Competition, an Equipment Exhibit, an AVS National Short Course Program, and a Science Workshop for High and Middle School Teachers.
The equipment exhibit will take place in the UCF Student Union Pegasus Ballroom, in conjunction with the poster session, reception and coffee breaks.
A reception will be held on Monday evening, March 10, for all symposium participants and attendees. Registration includes breakfast on Monday and Tuesday (7:30-9:00 AM), daily coffee breaks, poster session refreshments, reception and a symposium booklet.
