Xiaowei Zhuang
Harvard University

Xiaowei Zhuang is the David B. Arnold Professor of Science at Harvard University and an investigator of Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She pioneered the development of single-molecule, super-resolution, and genomic-scale imaging methods for the studies of biological systems. Zhuang is a member of the US National Academy of Sciences and has received a number of awards, including Vilcek Prize in Biomedical Science, Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences, Pearl Meister Greengard Prize, National Academy of Sciences Award for Scientific Discovery, Heineken Prize for Biochemistry and Biophysics, MacArthur Fellowship, etc.
